We are grateful for a wonderful time of fellowship with our friends and neighbors at our annual Community Thanksgiving Meal on Wednesday before thanksgiving. Some 544 plates were served and our chapel and dining room were busy from about 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
It is always good to see old friends drop by as well as some of our regular visitors. Our volunteer army, as usual, was in force and we are thankful for the many groups and individuals who came by to help for a while.
One particular young man, Marquavis Rudd, a student at Northwest High School, spent days collecting food to present to the Union Mission. The food came from his town of Hollister and we are grateful to this young man as well as his friends and neighbors for the donation. (picture below)
