Providing Food and Shelter At Union Mission

Homeless men, women, children, and impoverished families come through the doors of Union Mission of Roanoke Rapids tired, hungry, cold, dejected...desperate. Life's obstacles and poor choices have drained their bodies and their minds. Thanks to your generous giving, we have the profound privilege of telling each and everyone of them the Good News: there is hope! A lowly baby born in a stable some 2,000 years ago came to offer new life to the poor and the broken--no matter their circumstances. Today Jesus calls you and me to follow His example of service to others--to feed the hungry, to shelter the homeless, to counsel the addicted and to love the unlovely. $1.90 per person can mean so much as we provide for the needs of those who come to us for help.
