An Exciting Event
January 24 The North Carolina Baptist Singers will be leading a service of worship through music at Rosemary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, 6:45 PM. Anna and LaCount are active members of the Singers. We encourage you to come for an evening of music provided by ministers of music in NC. There will be some 150 orchestra members and singers providing the finest in church music. Please come early to get a seat. The NC Baptist Singers normally sing to standing room audiences. We are grateful for this opportunity of worship to be in our part of the state.
Plunge 2 Poverty
In an effort to bring events to northeastern NC we have partnered with WMU of NC to have a poverty simulation on March 4-5. We believe in order to reach those in poverty effectively we must learn. This event will help you understand more about rural poverty and this unique opportunity of learning in a retreat setting is rare. Plunge 2 Poverty begins at Noon on March 4 and concludes at noon on March 5. We will meet at Union Mission and Rosemary Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids for our sessions. Part of the time on the retreat will be participating in a Food Distribution of 240 food boxes to the community.
