Thanks For Giving

The autumn months bring abundant blessings—and among them are good friends like you. We’re so deeply grateful for your recent gifts to Union Mission of Roanoke Rapids. This is also the time of year when working-poor parents often struggle to meet the basic needs of clothing and food for their children . . . when the homeless battle cold nights on the streets. For so many of our neighbors, Thanksgiving feasts and Christmas presents are only wishful thinking or memories of better times.

Yet through the compassion and generosity of your partnership, we can help our guests and residents—and struggling men, women and children within the community—experience the joy of the season. And we can meet their needs for food, safe shelter and other life essentials all year-round.

If they could, I know the desperate souls we serve would want to thank you for making this season a special one. On their behalf, please accept my gratitude for supporting our ministry with your selfless gifts and faithful prayers.

With gratitude,
LaCount Anderson
